Sourcing Manager - Flavors & Colors, Gum Ingredients, Essentials
As the Sourcing Manager – Colors, Flavors, Gum Ingredients & Essential at Mars Snacking, you will operate at the intersection of strategy and execution. Lead sub-category sourcing across a regional and global spend portfolio exceeding +$100M. Translate global category strategies into robust execution plans that optimize cost, quality, service, and supply resilience. Leverage strong supplier partnerships, commercial negotiations, and market insights. You will champion business growth while ensuring disciplined project execution, proactive risk management, and seamless compliance with Mars sourcing governance frameworks.
What are we looking for?
Degree in Business/Supply Chain with 5–8 years of strategic sourcing experience in FMCG or Food & Beverage.
Proven track record leading negotiations, RFPs, and end-to-end contract execution.
Strong agility and communication skills to navigate and influence within a global matrix organization.
Ability to analyze complex market data / developments and drive insights and actions.
What will your key responsibilities be?
Lead end-to-end sourcing events (RFx design, market and spend intelligence, supplier evaluations). Draft robust Business Award Recommendations (BAR) aligned with strategic procurement frameworks.
Partner with cost modeling teams to lead commercial negotiations and execute regional/global legal contracts and SLAs. You will secure competitive pricing, volume rebates, capacity, and service terms.
Conduct in-depth financial, cost, and spend analyses to inform negotiation strategies and drive Value Leadership (VL) initiatives that deliver tangible category savings.
Drive supplier performance and relationships through structured Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) while partnering cross-functionally with Global Category Leads, R&D, SQA, Supply, and Finance to deliver on business priorities.
Proactively assess and mitigate supply chain risks to safeguard supply security, regulatory compliance, and high quality and ethical standards.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.
