We're seeking a strategic and influential Compliance Manager to lead our compliance, governance, sustainability, and enterprise risk management initiatives. Reporting directly to the President, this highly visible leadership role will help protect and strengthen our reputation while advancing responsible business practices that support long-term growth.

What You'll Do

As the Compliance Manager, you will serve as AGC Heat Transfer's subject matter expert for compliance, governance, sustainability, and risk management. You will work across all areas of the business to develop programs, policies, and strategies that promote ethical conduct, strong governance, regulatory compliance, and environmental stewardship.

Compliance & Ethics Leadership

• Lead and continuously improve AGC Heat Transfer's Compliance Program.
• Administer and promote the company's Code of Conduct while ensuring alignment with AGC's core values.
• Develop and maintain compliance-related policies, procedures, and standards.
• Monitor regulatory developments and emerging compliance risks.
• Provide guidance and support to leadership teams and employees on compliance matters.

Governance & Enterprise Risk Management

• Identify, assess, and mitigate organizational risks.
• Develop governance processes that strengthen accountability and consistency.
• Establish compliance monitoring, auditing, and reporting processes.
• Support investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with leadership to improve organizational resilience and risk management capabilities.

Sustainability & Corporate Responsibility

• Lead sustainability initiatives aligned with company strategy and business objectives.
• Develop metrics, reporting mechanisms, and processes that track sustainability performance.
• Promote environmentally responsible business practices throughout the organization.
• Serve as the organization's primary resource on sustainability matters.
• Collaborate with leaders to integrate sustainability into operational and strategic decision-making.

Supplier & Third-Party Compliance

• Lead supplier compliance and risk assessment programs.
• Coordinate supplier audits and compliance reviews.
• Support supplier qualification and ongoing risk management activities.
• Promote ethical, sustainable, and responsible business practices throughout the supply chain.

Training & Organizational Development

• Develop and deliver compliance, ethics, sustainability, and risk management training.
• Create communication and awareness programs that drive employee engagement.
• Facilitate workshops, presentations, and leadership discussions.
• Foster a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Compliance, Risk Management, Environmental Science, Engineering, Law, Sustainability, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in compliance, governance, risk management, sustainability, internal audit, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated success developing and implementing compliance and risk mitigation programs.
• Experience leading training initiatives, audits, investigations, and cross-functional projects.
• Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.

Preferred

• Professional certification in Compliance, Risk Management, Sustainability, Project Management, or a related field.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or engineered products environments.
• Experience developing sustainability reporting and ESG-related initiatives.

Additional Information

• Salary:  $125,000 / annually
• Reports to:  AGC President
• Hybrid work arrangement based in Fairview, Oregon.
• Domestic travel up to 25%.
• Occasional visits to manufacturing facilities, suppliers, and customer locations.
