Description
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success recruiting for specialized engineering and technical roles, with the ability to identify and engage passive candidates in competitive talent markets. Experience recruiting engineers, NDE/NDT professionals, inspectors, technical specialists, and other highly skilled professionals within the energy, nuclear, power generation, industrial, or engineering consulting industries is strongly preferred.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop a deep understanding of the organization's technical capabilities, service offerings, career opportunities, and industry markets.
- Partner with hiring managers to develop a clear understanding of position requirements, technical competencies, team needs, and business objectives.
- Develop and execute targeted recruiting strategies for difficult-to-fill and highly specialized positions.
- Source, identify, and attract qualified active and passive candidates through LinkedIn, professional networks, industry associations, employee referrals, recruiting databases, and other sourcing channel within specialized and niche technical markets where traditional recruiting methods may have limited reach.
- Conduct detailed candidate screening and interviews to assess technical qualifications, experience, cultural alignment, communication skills, and overall fit
- Manage candidate pipelines and maintain consistent communication throughout the recruiting process.
- Coordinate interviews and facilitate timely feedback between candidates and hiring managers.
- Guide hiring managers through candidate evaluation, selection, compensation discussions, and offer processes.
- Partner with HR and hiring managers to ensure a smooth transition from offer acceptance through onboarding.
- Maintain accurate and timely recruiting activity, candidate information, and status updates in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Monitor recruiting metrics and provide guidance on talent availability, recruiting challenges, market conditions, compensation expectations, and competitive hiring practices.
Skills/Qualifications:
- 8+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including demonstrated success recruiting engineering and highly specialized technical professionals.
- Strong understanding of technical recruiting methodologies and talent sourcing strategies.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other recruiting technologies and sourcing tools.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and proactively solve recruiting challenges.
- U.S. Citizenship, Lawful Permanent Residency, or Refugee/Asylee Status Required
