Job Description

As a Security Officer Dispatch Communications in Lithia, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Dispatch Security Professional at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will coordinate communications, monitor activity, document incidents, and support timely responses to security-related needs. You will help maintain a secure environment through clear communication, professional customer service, and teamwork. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and drivers at a chemical and petrochemical location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and coordinate dispatch communications, including receiving calls, documenting requests, relaying information to appropriate personnel, and maintaining accurate activity logs.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate relevant details to site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Monitor access activity, visitor and contractor entry, and vehicle traffic in accordance with site procedures and applicable hazardous-materials protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
