We have an amazing opportunity for an Assistant Manager with Fox Plant Operations, a multifaceted facility team supporting the Fox Network Center on the 53-acre Fox Studio Lot in Century City. This dynamic role offers the chance to join a professional technical service team in a fast-paced live sports, entertainment production, and executive office environment.
The Assistant Manager prepares and supports the administrative, operational and project documentation necessary to maintain and improve facilities, including Work Authorizations, Methods of Procedure (MOPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), while maintaining accurate records in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). Responsibilities include departmental documentation and scheduling, financial administration, records and file management, and support for capital projects from planning through completion. The role ensures that records, drawings, archives and reports are accurate, current and distributed in a timely manner.

- Prepare budget forms, purchase orders, billing documentation and invoices; process and track vendor payments; and assist with project scopes, budgets, cost tracking, approval packages and agreements with contractors, vendors and consultants
- Prepare, publish, route for approval, and maintain Work Authorizations, MOPs, SOPs, email notifications and other operational communications
- Enter, update and maintain maintenance and preventive-maintenance records in the CMMS; ensure data accuracy across Plant Operations systems; and generate operational, maintenance, project and performance reports for planning, compliance and decision-making
- Maintain and archive current and historical construction project files, architectural and engineering drawings, building records and electronic plans; research and retrieve facility information in response to Plant Operations, PDC and lot-wide requests
- Interface with Fox Lot trades, Facilities teams, internal departments and external project partners during planning, pricing, construction, maintenance and closeout activities
- Maintain an active presence in facility and project areas as needed for building operations, field verification, inspections, communication and issue resolution
- Serve as a liaison among Plant Operations, internal departments, tenants, contractors, vendors, engineers, and consultants to facilitate communication and coordination of efforts
- Provide administrative and project support to Plant Operations management including scheduling meetings, coordinating departmental initiatives, and supporting multiple concurrent maintenance and capital projects
- Perform other related administrative, operational, and project duties as assigned
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Coursework toward or completion of a degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Project Management, Construction Management or a related field is preferred. Relevant professional or trade experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- 3+ years of experience preferably supporting corporate or commercial facilities, design, construction, maintenance, or capital projects
- Experience with data collection, data management and maintaining accurate records, systems and project documentation
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, with the ability to analyze data, create spreadsheets, develop reports, and prepare professional presentations
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, critical-thinking and time-management skills, with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines, adapt to changing priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate professionally across multiple disciplines and with varied personalities
- Self-motivated, customer-service oriented and able to quickly learn new systems and work independently with minimal supervision
NICE TO HAVE BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER
- Familiarity with CMMS platforms and preventive-maintenance programs
- Basic knowledge of City of Los Angeles Building Code requirements related to egress and accessibility, including ADA provisions
- Experience working in a campus environment
- Experience with AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp, and/or Bluebeam

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $74,000.00-85,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
