Application Support Engineer

Act as software detectives, provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.

Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying system anomalies and collaborating with different teams to ensure smooth and continuous operation of software applications. The position demands attentiveness to detail and a commitment to maintaining system reliability and performance in a dynamic environment. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize and address critical system issues promptly. - Facilitate knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team. - Monitor system health and proactively identify potential risks to prevent downtime. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Microsoft Azure Data Services. - Additional Good To Have Skills: Experience with Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform, Python (Programming Language). - Strong understanding of cloud-based data management and integration techniques. - Experience in troubleshooting and optimizing data pipelines and storage solutions. - Familiarity with monitoring tools and performance tuning in cloud environments. - Ability to analyze complex system logs and diagnose root causes effectively. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Microsoft Azure Data Services. - This position is based at our Manila office.
