As a Transport Planner based in Chesterfield you’ll be responsible for:
- Proactive analysis of vehicle deployment and utilisation to identify strategic opportunities for driving efficiencies in the WUK supply chain
- Responsible for meeting, and seeking to exceed, all KPIs, SLAs and stakeholder expectations associated with the role
- Collate data to identify issues that impact upon the systems and processes within the WUK supply chain. Develop and communicate insights with the Planning team and other stakeholders to ensure there is a collective focus upon maximising process efficiencies
- Act as the subject-matter-expert for TMS and utilise own and others' knowledge to find solutions to problems

- Analytical skills and the ability to process complex information, identify trends/anomalies and balance a detailed approach with the need to consider holistic issues
- Experience in transport legal compliance
- Good knowledge of Microsoft software, Microsoft Excel essential
- A proactive approach to solving problems and providing solutions
