In this role you

Are responsible for delivering supplier partners' high-quality performance by applying Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) in product industrialization, driving continuous quality improvement throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring regulatory compliance, and identifying improvement opportunities through CoNQ data analysis.

Your role:

• Manage local Supplier Quality Engineering team activities related to purchased part qualification with suppliers, supplier quality issue resolution, supplier quality performance monitoring, supplier auditing, and ensuring appropriate incoming material inspection strategies. 
• Drive quality activities with local cross-functional teams and suppliers, setting a high standard and fast response expectation so quality issues are prevented or minimized. 
• Lead team in APQP quality methodology execution with R&D and Operations during NPI projects. 
• Monitor activities related to key functional metrics such as SCARs>90 days, projects/parts on APQP, supplier audit completion, and supplier PPM performance to enable team success in balancing workload. 
• Ensure team adopts and utilizes best practices to enable our organization to provide high quality medical products to our customers.

 

You're the right fit if:

• Bachelor's/ Master's Degree in Engineering Science, Supply Chain Management, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in areas such as Quality Engineering, Safety Engineering, Process Engineering, Continuous Improvement Techniques or equivalent.
• undefined 5+ years of leadership experience with all aspects of supplier quality management:  APQP quality concepts, tools and methods (e.g. FMEA, DOE, IQ/OQ/PQ, MSA, GRR, 8D, etc.); quality issue resolution and quality monitoring measures.
• You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Office/Remote position.

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position in Murrysville PA is $120,000 to $167,000 Annually. 

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.    

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.  Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more.  Details about our benefits can be found here. 

At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
