Major Job Responsibilities:
Use quality tools to verify products, processes and improve problem solving and implementation of improvements. Must be able to develop Standard Work, Working Instructions and lead Train the Trainer. Help drive improvements and increase our overall Quality position with our customers.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conducting inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process items, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Documenting and reporting findings, including deviations, defects, or nonconformance issues, and preparing detailed quality reports
- Audit and provide feedback on work instructions
- Collaborating with production, engineering, and quality teams to troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions
- Supporting quality control programs and ensuring adherence to company and regulatory standards
- Maintain organization of equipment, tools, and general housekeeping of the inspection area
- Training production staff on quality procedures and proper equipment use

Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills to identify defects and assess processes
- Effective communication skills to report findings and collaborate with teams
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a manufacturing setting with a focus on quality
- Able to use tape measure gauge, calipers and micrometers to measure and compare to standards
- Basic math including using multiple units of measure such as common fractions and decimals
- Must be able to do the following without assistance: lift up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally, stand, sit, bend, squat, twist, climb and walk for hours at a time.
- Good eye-hand coordination and ability to perform repetitive task
