About Us
Winco is an agile aviation business with decades of proven innovation and service to the powerline construction and maintenance industry. We provide best-in-breed utility helicopters and crews to support projects of all complexities and sizes throughout the United States. We are a team of quiet professionals who get the job done safely and to the specification and satisfaction of our customers. Our approach centers around providing the best maintained aircraft, the best trained aviation teams (Pilots, Mechanics, Linemen & Groundmen), and the best results in terms of safe and efficient production for our customers.
About this Role
Winco is hiring an Operations Support Coordinator to keep the administrative and logistical side of complex field operations moving. You will work closely with project managers, operational leaders, and field teams to organize job information, maintain critical trackers, coordinate project logistics, and follow important details through completion.
This role is a strong fit for someone who enjoys being the person a team can rely on for accurate information, organized records, and steady follow through. The work changes with the operation, but the purpose stays consistent: keep routine coordination from pulling technical and operational employees away from the work that requires their experience.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and organize job packets, project folders, submission checklists, and approved information for field teams.
- Coordinate hangars, hotel blocks, shipping, equipment movements, and other approved project logistics.
- Maintain job, flight-time, crew-rotation, power-check, equipment, certification, and other operational trackers.
- Prepare recurring reports and help keep contract, compliance, certification, and administrative deadlines visible.
- Support union hall assignments and porting paperwork, including employee information, dues receipts, referrals, signatures, and local-specific records.
- Assist with bid and RFP intake, file gathering, presentations, workbooks, and document routing.
- Track radios and assigned equipment, coordinate vendor communication, and support programming and inventory processes after training.
- Coordinate selected new-hire logistics, welcome materials, crew calls, meetings, and operational communications.
- Document repeatable processes and help build reliable handoffs and backup coverage across the team.
- Other tasks as needed
What You'll Bring
- Experience coordinating administrative, project, logistics, or operations work with multiple priorities.
- Strong Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and electronic file-management skills.
- A careful, organized approach to tracking details, deadlines, records, and document versions.
- Clear communication and the confidence to follow up respectfully with office employees, field personnel, vendors, and outside organizations.
- Good judgment, discretion, and dependable follow through.
- A high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to work full time Monday through Friday near Aurora State Airport.
Experience in aviation, electric utilities, construction, field services, logistics, or another safety-sensitive operation is helpful. We would also value experience with union paperwork, project mobilization, employee credentials, bids and RFPs, inventory, radios, KMZ or GPS files, or technical project records. Candidates do not need experience in every area; the right person will be ready to learn Winco’s systems and earn the team’s trust through accurate work.
What You'll Get
- 401K employer matching up to 4.5% with a 6% employee contribution
- Employer provided HSA: Annual $500 individual, $1000 family
- Employer provided Dental coverage for individual employee
- Employer provided Basic Life/AD&D 2X base annual earnings.

- Additional benefits: Identity theft protection, Dependent care FSA, FSA, Vision, STD, LTD, Accident Insurance, Hospital Indemnity Insurance, Critical Illness Insurance, Supplemental Life Insurance, many more.
This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position scheduled Monday through Friday. The role supports work centered at Winco’s headquarters at Aurora State Airport in Aurora, Oregon. Candidates must live within commutable driving distance and be available for regular in-person work.
