• Provides technical expertise to customers in the areas of product quality, processing techniques and problem resolution. Serves as a technical expert to sales professionals, customers and other internal/external partners. Helps translate product data into effective sales and marketing tools. Assists with regulatory and environmental product issues, product improvements, positioning of existing product offerings and new business product offerings.
• Technical professional with high competency in a degreed technology area and developing capability as a technical/product SME, completing specialized and/or moderately complex tasks under minimal to moderate supervision.
• Ensures rapid, satisfying response to all customer requests pertaining to commercial products and 3rd party products originating in APR.
• Manages and communicates all product quality and performance issues for those products and 3rd party products.  This work comprises root cause analysis, development of feasible solutions, working within CMPT to select the best solution, project management and development and execution of internal and external communications strategies
• Owns and communicates process change to customers.   This comprises decisions about levels of notification, determination of success criteria, and approval of white papers.
• Characterizes and drives improvement in products and services through systematic review of customer complaints and requests.
• Communicate with field service engineers and other sales staff on technical aspects of products and issue resolution.
• Maintains consistent customer response standards and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
• Interface internal/external customers to identify the specific purpose and technical requirements of each individual analysis requests.
• Interpret the analysis data and generate customer reports.
• Collaborate with account teams and work with customer quality team to account specific quality requirement.
• Builds technical network and gains exposure to customers.
• Acts as a resource for technical professionals with less experience; has the ability to understand and influence others.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years customer interface experiences
• Minimum of B.S. in Chemistry, Chem E, Mech E, Materials Science/Engr or related engineering degree
• Understanding of semiconductor fabrication; CMP process knowledge is desirable.
• Desirable global experience with strong interpersonal skills
• Data analysis and technical reporting with 6sigma concept

• Good communication/interpersonal skills

• English and Chinese language skills
• Experiences in analytical methods/equipment
• Quality management skills, such as 8D methodology
