As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a retail location, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, as assigned.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and applicable laws.
- Maintain a visible presence to help deter theft, unauthorized access, and other suspicious activity; report observations through required channels.
- Carry and maintain authorized equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, client requirements, and applicable regulations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
