As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a retail location, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and offers the opportunity to support a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $26.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, as assigned.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and applicable laws.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter theft, unauthorized access, and other suspicious activity; report observations through required channels.
• Carry and maintain authorized equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, client requirements, and applicable regulations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
