About our role:
Based on site, at our brand new Sydney office, the Community & Events Manager is responsible for its smooth day to day operations. This is a part-time role (3 days per week in the office) with a key focus on planning and delivering both client events, internal team activities, and company wide gatherings, playing an active, visible role in creating a positive in-office experience and supporting engagement across the team.
In this role, you will oversee all office operations and facilities, including coordination with the building manager, facilities providers, and building security, as well as organisation and procurement of items such as groceries, food, stationery, and cleaning supplies, as well as light reception duties.
Who You are?
You are an experienced office and events professional who enjoys being hands on and juggling a varied workload. You're organised, detail focused, and genuinely enjoy creating great experiences for the people around you.
You will also have:
- 3+ years' experience in office management or high level executive support.
- Demonstrated experience in orgainising and supporting client events.
- High level organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience handling confidential information with discretion.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills.
- Strong written communication and advanced MS Office skills.
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities, meet deadlines, and use initiative.
- Strong decision making and problem solving skills.
