Senior Web Application Developer (d/f/m)

Your Tasks & Responsibilities
Full Lifecycle Development: Lead the development, testing, and deployment of robust, scalable microservices-based applications in alignment with business requirements.
Architectural Leadership: Define and evolve the company’s IT architecture, encompassing both software design and infrastructure, ensuring all solutions meet company standards and are future-proofed.
IT Service Management (ITSM): Apply ITIL best practices to ensure operational excellence, including active participation in incident, problem, change, and release management processes.
Vendor & Provider Management: Act as the technical point of contact and manager for external software development providers, ensuring their deliverables meet our quality and architectural standards.
Security & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to IT Security policies by implementing secure coding practices and maintaining rigorous application configuration standards.
Continuous Improvement: Drive the evolution of our tech stack and infrastructure to improve system reliability, performance, and developer productivity.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Advanced Software Development: Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript and modern web development frameworks (Angular).
Cloud Architecture: Advanced knowledge of Cloud-based software and infrastructure architecture, with a proven track record of designing distributed systems.
Containerization & Orchestration: Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for managing containerized applications.
Cloud Infrastructure: Deep understanding of AWS components, specifically AWS S3 and AWS Load Balancers.
Event-Driven Architecture: Practical knowledge of Apache Kafka for building real-time, scalable data pipelines.
Database Management: Strong proficiency with MongoDB and NoSQL database design principles.
Methodology: Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and Agile development methodologies.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Fluency in German; proficiency in English is a plus.
Specific Knowledge in German Security and governmental requirements
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves):
Certifications in Kubernetes
Experience managing third-party offshore or nearshore development teams.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline automation (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions).
