Lyten is leading an industrial revolution through Lyten 3D Graphene™, a breakthrough supermaterial unlocking a new generation of products — from lithium–sulfur batteries and energy storage systems to concrete admixtures, lightweight composites, and next-generation sensors that are revolutionizing industries. Together, these innovations are making a massive global improvement and driving real-world impact across energy, mobility, construction, and defense.

At Lyten, we believe the most meaningful careers begin with purpose — and with people who want to make a difference. We’re not just developing advanced supermaterials — we’re about to change the world as we know it, reshaping how energy is stored, how products are built, and how progress is made.

We’re entering an exciting growth phase, scaling production across the U.S. and Europe and expanding our team of engineers, scientists, and innovators.

Apply now to join our team and be part of something bigger than yourself — where collaboration, creativity, and purpose come together to build the technologies that will define the next century.

At Lyten Labs, we're building the future of advanced materials and energy technology. As a Manufacturing Technician, you'll play a hands-on role in bringing groundbreaking innovations from concept to reality. You'll work with state-of-the-art equipment, collaborate closely with engineers and manufacturing experts, and help drive the quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement of our production processes.

If you're someone who enjoys solving problems, optimizing processes, working with cutting-edge technology, and making a direct impact on product quality, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

As a Manufacturing Technician, you'll be at the heart of our manufacturing operations, ensuring our processes run safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You'll partner with engineers to support equipment setup, process optimization, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor advanced manufacturing equipment to ensure consistent production performance and product quality.
  • Make process-related decisions and adjustments to maintain customer-grade quality standards.
  • Evaluate production parameters and implement approved changes that improve yield, efficiency, and product performance.
  • Monitor equipment performance and perform routine adjustments as needed.
  • Control and manage production materials, tooling, and machine settings throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Collaborate with teammates to identify and implement process improvements that enhance safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Participate in cross-functional continuous improvement projects with Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams.
  • Independently operate manufacturing equipment and perform first-level troubleshooting to resolve issues quickly.
  • Support engineers with experiments, process validation activities, and data collection to advance manufacturing capabilities.
  • Utilize manufacturing systems and analytical tools to collect, interpret, and act on process and equipment data.
  • Develop, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs).
  • Train, mentor, and validate new team members on critical manufacturing tasks, operational procedures, and safety requirements.
  • Serve as a process representative in team meetings and improvement initiatives when needed.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and inclusive work environment built on teamwork, accountability, innovation, and high performance.
  • Partner with senior manufacturing personnel to troubleshoot complex equipment and process challenges.
  • Help identify, evaluate, and implement process and product improvements that support operational excellence and scalability.

What Success Looks Like

  • You take ownership of your work and proactively solve problems.
  • You are comfortable making data-driven decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • You have a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • You enjoy collaborating across teams and helping others succeed.
  • You are excited to contribute to a company that is transforming the future through technology and innovation.
