Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Experienced Patrol in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government transportation location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to visitors and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, transportation facility policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, access points, and surrounding perimeters to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Monitor access to restricted areas and assist with directing authorized personnel, visitors, and contractors in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency services when needed.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
