Part-Time HGV Class 1 Night Drivers – Rotherham (S66)
The Recruitment Crowd is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-known and industry-leading client based in Rotherham. We are looking for multiple Part-Time HGV Class 1 (C+E) Night Drivers to join the team.
Location: Rotherham, S66
Job Type: Ongoing Part-Time Work / Temp-to-Perm Opportunities Available
Pay Rates:
- £17.50 per hour (PAYE)
- £19.61 per hour (Rolled Up Holiday Pay)
Shift Patterns & Start Times:
- Sunday to Friday nights.
- Flexible part-time shifts available.
- Choose from 1–4 shifts per week.
- Start times between 20:00 – 00:00.
- Average shift length 10 hours.
- Double-manned runs can be 14–15 hours.
The Role:
- Trunking vehicle parts to depots across the UK (depots located from Glasgow to Southampton).
- 1–2 drops per shift.
- Mixture of cage work, pallets and totes.
- Use of tail lift and pump truck for unloading.
- Vehicles are pre-loaded before shift start.
- Regular double-manned runs required.
- No nights out required.
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
- Minimum 2 years’ driving experience required.
- No maximum points; however, only minor offences accepted (no DR/DG offences).
- Valid CPC and Digi Card.
- Good understanding of driver hours and regulations.
- Reliable, professional and flexible approach to work.
