Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Wilson, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment while working as part of a team that reflects Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven values.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout manufacturing and industrial facilities, including production areas, warehouses, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities through accurate reports and shift communications.

Minimum Requirements:

• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
