• Manage trade sequencing and ensure subcontractors are meeting schedule commitments
• Monitor subcontractor manpower, productivity, quality, and overall performance
• Review construction drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, and other project documents
• Identify constructability issues and field conflicts early and work with the project team to develop solutions
• Lead subcontractor meetings and communicate project expectations clearly
• Coordinate closely with Project Managers and Project Engineers on schedule, cost, procurement, changes, RFIs, and project documentation
• Maintain communication with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, inspectors, and other project stakeholders
• Coordinate city and agency inspections and ensure work is ready for inspection
• Maintain strong safety standards and promote a safe and organized jobsite
• Monitor quality throughout construction and ensure work meets plans, specifications, and Uprite standards
• Maintain accurate daily reports, progress documentation, and field records
• Manage punch list activities, commissioning coordination, final inspections, and project closeout
• Help build and maintain strong relationships with local subcontractors and trade partners
• Travel to project locations as required by the needs of the business
What We Are Looking For
• Strong Superintendent experience within commercial construction
• Ground up commercial construction experience is required
• Tenant improvement experience is required
• Experience working for a commercial general contractor
• Experience independently running projects or major portions of projects in the field

• Experience managing projects through the full construction lifecycle from mobilization through turnover
• Strong subcontractor management and trade coordination experience
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and scopes simultaneously
• Strong scheduling, sequencing, and short term planning skills
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, shop drawings, and project documents
• Experience coordinating inspections and working with local jurisdictions
• Strong understanding of construction safety and quality control
• Ability to identify problems in the field and work collaboratively toward practical solutions
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Comfortable working directly with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal project teams
• Experience with Procore or similar construction management software is preferred
• OSHA 30 certification is preferred
• Must be open and able to travel based on project location and business needs
• Must be comfortable with extended project assignments outside the Pocatello area when required
Preferred Experience
Candidates with experience across multiple commercial construction markets are especially encouraged to apply. Relevant experience may include industrial, warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, cold storage, commercial office, retail, advanced manufacturing, and other complex commercial projects.
