About the role
The Systems Engineer III performs systems engineering, operational support, and infrastructure administration for enterprise platforms and services. This role researches, designs, implements, and supports enterprise systems while responding to operational alerts, troubleshooting complex issues, and supporting change management activities. The engineer works across Linux, Windows, virtualization, storage, and container platforms to ensure enterprise systems remain secure, reliable, and highly available.
About the team
The Systems Engineer III is part of the Global Consulting Operations / Professional Services team, and you will report to the Infrastructure Team Manager. The team owns the shared infrastructure that Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) Professional Services and Support depend on, including Servers and VMs, virtualization and container platforms, database schemas, and critical shared services, keeping them secure, patched, and fully operational. We work in an Agile environment, and you will work in close collaboration with the entire R&D organization (Development, QA, Technical Documentation), as well as Product Support, Security, DBA, and Professional Services Consultants who deliver directly to our customers. While the role is infrastructure-focused rather than customer-facing, the environments you build and maintain — project sandboxes, technical training systems, and customer issue reproduction environments — directly enable the teams serving our customers.
