You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, conduct routine patrols, and provide responsive customer service while helping to deter incidents. - Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and help prevent unauthorized access to manufacturing and industrial operations.
- Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, business areas, and the perimeter to identify and report access-control concerns, unusual activity, and facility issues.
- Document daily activities, incidents, and access-related observations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
