Description
As Host/Hostess, you'll be the first point of contact for our guests — greeting warmly, managing the flow of the dining room, and setting the tone for a memorable Ameswell dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Greets guests with a warm and friendly welcome
- Seats guests and provides menus
- Assists guests with inquiries or special requests
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of the host station
- Manages waitlists and reservations
- Collaborates with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Provides excellent customer service throughout the dining experience
- Handles guest complaints or concerns professionally
- Assists with other guest services as needed
Skills, Knowledge and Requirements
- Previous experience in guest relations or customer service preferred
- Familiarity with Toast or similar restaurant systems a plus
- Strong communication skills and excellent phone etiquette
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with calm professionalism
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Regularly required to stand, walk, talk, and hear
- Frequently required to use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, and reach with hands and arms
- Regularly required to lift and/or move items up to 25 pounds
