Description
The FP&A Intern will support the FP&A team on multiple facets of the business, from assisting with assets management and capital planning to financial analysis for projects, data gathering, summarization, and analysis of financial reports, trends, and opportunities.
General Responsibilities
Assist with tracking and recording company assets in the financial system
Assist with capital planning, tracking, and analysis, including but not limited to capital budget, capital investments, and asset performance
Assist with maintaining department budgets based on business needs and objectives
Assist with analysis to identify trends and areas of concern
Asset with ROI/NPV/IRR analysis, including but not limited to making recommendations to management on new products, features, and capital investments
Assist with special projects and other responsibilities as assigned
Assist with administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
Current Enrollment in an accredited college or university with an emphasis in accounting, finance, and business administration
Have 3 years or less left to graduate or equivalent
Technical Proficiency
Good Communication skills, both verbal and written
Good organization skills and attention to detail, including ability to coordinate multiple tasks
Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment
Some knowledge of accounting, budget, and analysis preferred, but not required
