The Key Purpose of this role is to support and deliver Finance Transformation for key D Tech projects and initiatives across the Africa Zone to enable Africa’s transformation journey, fully transform and stabilize operations as well as drive alignment with Global. We are looking for a high-octane Business Transformation Specialist who specializes in Finance. This is not just a process role; it is a change-agent position designed to revolutionize how we sell, distribute, and manage operations across the Africa Zone. You will sit at the intersection of finance strategy and technical excellence, ensuring our finance “To-Be” and technical processes are lean, digitized, and world-class.

Key Roles and Responsibilities: 

• Review finance (RTR) processes across the Africa Zone to identify areas for optimization, standardization and stabilization using key Transformation Principles​

• Map E2E as is processes, assess interdependencies, perform a gap analysis (People, Process, Tech) and design to be processes in line with: ​

• SOCs and MICS​

• Functional Excellence Programs​

• Best in class external and internal benchmarks​

• Standardized Global/Zone practices and processes ​

• Sign off from key stakeholders (Zone, In Country, Process Owners, etc.)​

• Developing sustainable business cases and plans that lead to improvement in maturity​

• Building relationships with key stakeholders & stakeholder management across projects (In Country, BU, Zone & Global teams)​

• Partnering with key stakeholders to ensure a successful transition between as is and to be processes​

• Working with Process Owners, Change Management & Tech teams to ensure holistic documentation and training for to be processes​

• Leveraging lean six sigma tools and techniques to ensure that waste is eliminated, defects are minimized, and improvement opportunities are identified​

• As a Transformation Specialist, this role is responsible for collaboration and embracing agile ways of work, ensuring team accountability and responsibility​

• Understanding of core SAP Finance processes/Business Finance processes and integrations

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree

• Proficiency in SAP and a deep understanding of how tech enables E2E operations​

• Computer skills (MS Office: Excel, PowerPoint)

• Travel flexibility​
