Description

We are Covestro. We are curious. We are courageous. We are colorful. We refine chemical material solutions with game-changing products. Let us empower you to push boundaries. Join us and our 18.000 colleagues now and together we will make the world a brighter place.

Product Safety & Regulatory Affairs (PSRA) is a global service unit with highly qualified experts in all regions. We ensure fulfillment of the ever increasing requirements from chemicals legislation, provide up-to-date product safety information and support customers in product safety and regulatory matters. For the Global Product Regulatory Affairs Department within PSRA we are searching for a Manager (m/f/d) Regulatory Affairs Europe. In this role you will directly influence how Covestro navigates the evolving REACH landscape and make a tangible impact on Covestro’s product compliance and marketability.

In addition to our wide range of benefits, as a full-time employee you can expect an attractive starting salary of between €111,300 gross per annum and €139,100 gross per annum, plus a variable component. The starting salary will be based on your qualifications and professional experience.

What you'll be working on:

  • You coordinate and execute REACH registrations and related regulatory activities for Covestro products, including authority-driven and voluntary updates

  • Defending Covestro's interests in REACH regulatory processes – particularly in evaluation and authorization – is a core part of your responsibilities

  • You develop and implement regulatory strategies for Covestro's product portfolio and serve as a trusted advisor to Business Entities on regulatory matters

  • Representing Covestro in international cross-industry REACH consortia, you coordinate contributions and actively safeguard company interests

  • You engage with industry associations on regulatory topics and ensure Covestro's perspective is heard at the right levels

  • Monitoring regulatory developments, assessing their relevance, and driving the implementation of necessary actions rounds off your scope of responsibilities

What you bring to the table:

  • A PhD in natural sciences – preferably in Chemistry – forms the foundation of your expertise

  • Profound knowledge of European chemicals legislation, especially REACH, combined with hands-on experience in regulatory processes such as registrations and evaluations

  • A solid background in related sciences, including eco- and/or toxicology and risk assessment

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in and lead international teams and committees

  • Very good English skills, both verbal and written

This position is fundamentally a full-time role. Would you like to work part-time? Feel free to apply and indicate your preferred percentage.
