## About this Role
We are seeking an Enterprise Network Operations Lead to provide advanced technical support across enterprise network infrastructure, with a focus on resolving complex incidents, improving network performance and supporting operational excellence. The role is based in Pune within the VNO function and GNO Enterprise Connectivity-Tech Ops department, supporting resilient, secure and cost-effective IT infrastructure across routing, switching, wireless, data centre and security technologies
## What you’ll do
- Act as a key escalation point for complex network issues and high-severity incidents across enterprise network infrastructure.
- Lead troubleshooting and resolution for technologies including VRF, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP and ACI.
- Maintain and manage highly resilient, secure and cost-effective IT infrastructure, including Cisco Catalyst, Cisco Nexus, Cisco ACI, Cisco ASR, Cisco Catalyst Center and Cisco Wireless Wi-Fi 6 and 7 networks.
- Provide 3rd line support and ensure timely resolution of network incidents.
- Monitor network performance, analyse capacity reports and identify opportunities to improve network quality and customer experience.
- Support MTTR reduction by managing tickets effectively and focusing on timely service restoration.
- Collaborate with Design, Engineering, NOC, Security, Core, IPBB, Change Management, MIM and CSB teams to deliver network changes, upgrades and deployments.
- Perform root cause analysis and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including network diagrams, configurations and operational procedures.
- Participate in change management processes and apply risk mitigation during deployments.
- Work with vendors for support, escalation and resolution of hardware or software issues.
- Identify opportunities to automate or digitise documentation and improve ways of working for the team.
## Who you are
- You have experience in network operations and are confident supporting routing, switching, wireless, data centre and security technologies.
- You have hands-on knowledge of enterprise network infrastructure, including Cisco Catalyst, Cisco Nexus, Cisco ACI, Cisco ASR, Cisco Catalyst Center, Wireless LAN Controllers and Cisco Wireless networks.
- You are experienced with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, NetFlow and Wireshark, with additional exposure to tools such as Netcool, Cisco PI or other monitoring platforms.
- You understand ticket management platforms such as Remedy and can support service availability and SLA performance for
- You can work effectively with cross-functional teams and vend
- Experience with scripting and automation tools such as Python or Ansible would be an advantage.
