## About the Role

Qualcomm is seeking a high-performing Government Affairs and Technology Policy professional to help advance the company's strategic priorities across Europe.

Working at the intersection of technology, business and public policy, you will support Qualcomm's engagement on key issues including semiconductors, software, AI, connectivity, automotive, digital policy and industrial competitiveness. You will partner closely with Qualcomm's business units, engineering teams and government affairs colleagues to translate technology and business priorities into effective external engagement strategies.

This role requires strong commercial and technical acumen, a deep understanding of the European policy landscape, and the ability to build trusted relationships with policymakers, industry stakeholders and ecosystem partners.

## Key Responsibilities will include:

• Support the development and execution of Qualcomm's public policy and advocacy strategies across Europe.
• Serve as a bridge between Qualcomm's business units, engineering teams and external stakeholders.
• Analyze and communicate the impact of policy and regulatory developments on Qualcomm's technologies, products and business priorities.
• Represent Qualcomm in industry associations, alliances, industry forums and external engagements.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with policymakers, regulators, industry leaders, customers and ecosystem partners.
• Develop policy positions, executive briefings and stakeholder engagement plans.
• Enhance Qualcomm's visibility and thought leadership on semiconductors, AI, connectivity and emerging technologies.

## Preferred Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in the technology sector, including experience in business, technical, product, engineering, industry affairs, government affairs or public policy roles. The ideal candidate combines strong technology and business acumen with an understanding of policy and regulatory developments impacting innovation and growth.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor technologies, AI, software and hardware ecosystems, connectivity technologies and emerging technology trends.
• Experience working in or closely with the technology, semiconductor, automotive or digital industries.
• Strong understanding of European policy and regulatory developments relating to AI, automotive, digital policy, industrial policy, trade and innovation.
• Experience working with industry associations, standards organizations and multi-stakeholder initiatives.
• Ability to translate complex technical and business issues into clear policy and advocacy strategies.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Multilingual capabilities are a plus.

## Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Business, Law, Political Science, Public Policy or a related field.

## Location

Preferred locations: Brussels. Other European Qualcomm office locations may be considered for the right candidate. Flexible location arrangements may be considered for highly qualified candidates.

The successful candidate will be a trusted partner to Qualcomm's business and technology teams, an effective representative in the European technology ecosystem, and a credible advocate for Qualcomm's priorities across semiconductors, AI, connectivity and next-generation technologies. They will successfully bridge business, technology and policy considerations to help advance Qualcomm's strategic objectives across Europe

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Government Affairs, Business, Political Science, Public Policy, Public Affairs, Engineering, Legal, or related field.
• 5+ years of Government Affairs, Communications, Industry Associations, or related work experience.
