About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Offshore Maintenance Planner - Offshore to support the safe, efficient, and reliable execution of maintenance activities at the Wandoo B Offshore Platform. This contract role (2 on 2 off roster, 12hrs/day) is responsible for coordinating maintenance notifications, corrective work orders, preventive maintenance planning, materials, logistics, and work readiness to ensure offshore activities are fully prepared and executable within planned timeframes.
Working closely with the Planning Team Lead, Maintenance Team Lead, and offshore Maintenance, Operations, Logistics, Materials, and Engineering teams, you will help drive effective work planning, backlog management, SAP workflow coordination, KPI reporting, and mobilisation support. The role requires strong organisational capability, practical maintenance planning experience, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic offshore oil and gas environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the custodian of maintenance notifications, leading regular review meetings and ensuring timely prioritisation, assignment, and progression of NOTI work flow
- Act as the custodian of Corrective Work Orders (CWOs), managing scope development, material procurement, resource requirements, workflow management, and execution readiness.
- Develop and maintain a 3-Month Preventive Maintenance (PM) Lookahead to ensure upcoming work is visible, planned, and adequately resourced.
- Manage and resolve SAP stock and material availability issues that may impact offshore operations and maintenance activities.
- Coordinate and support the planning and execution of maintenance activities and campaigns, ensuring all PMs and CWOs are prepared for execution with materials, resources, and work packs in place.
- Manage offshore logistics requirements, including:
- Core crew planning and mobilisation
- Catering requirements
- Scaffolding coordination
- Logistics updates and stakeholder communication
- FVA requests for visitors and personnel movements
- Act as the custodian of Offshore KPI reporting, ensuring data accuracy, timely reporting, and continuous monitoring of key performance metrics.
- Manage material requirements and support the end-to-end Material Management process, ensuring critical materials are available when required.
- Act as the custodian of FVA workflows and associated processes, ensuring requests are submitted, tracked, and completed in a timely manner.
- Provide support to the Maintenance Team Lead (MTL) by taking contractors queries, arranging materials, ensuring work pack readiness, and assisting with day-to-day maintenance planning and execution queries.
- Lead maintenance backlog reviews, prioritisation activities, and backlog optimisation initiatives to improve maintenance efficiency and reduce overdue work.
- Manage and coordinate SAP Preventive Maintenance (PM) changes, ensuring alignment with maintenance strategies, reliability objectives, and operational requirements.
- Work closely with Maintenance, Operations, Logistics, Materials, and Engineering teams to ensure work scopes are fully prepared and executable within planned timeframes.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to materials, logistics, resources, and work readiness that may impact the safe and efficient execution of offshore maintenance activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- High school diploma or TEE equivalent; a trade, technical, engineering, or maintenance planning qualification is considered desirable.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in offshore and/or onshore oil and gas operations, preferably in a maintenance planning, scheduling, or coordination role.
- Strong working knowledge of maintenance planning processes, including preventive maintenance, corrective work orders, backlog management, and work pack readiness.
- Experience using SAP or a similar computerized maintenance management system to manage notifications, work orders, materials, and maintenance workflows.
- Practical understanding of offshore logistics, mobilisation, materials coordination, and resource planning requirements.
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across Maintenance, Operations, Logistics, Materials, and Engineering teams.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, identify risks to work execution, and support safe, efficient offshore maintenance activities.
