ROLE SUMMARY
The Communications Specialist develops and delivers high-quality internal communications that inform, engage and connect colleagues across Pfizer Ireland. The role supports site leadership and cross-functional teams through clear, compelling and audience-focused communications that strengthen culture, support business priorities and enhance the colleague experience.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
· Develop, write, edit and publish internal communications including leadership messages, colleague announcements, newsletters, intranet content and presentations.
· Support engagement, recognition, wellbeing, inclusion and culture-building initiatives.
· Manage communication channels and content calendars.
· Partner with leaders and stakeholders to develop effective communication plans.
· Support town halls, leadership visits and organisational initiatives.
· Create stories that promote colleague achievements and business milestones.
· Monitor communication effectiveness and recommend improvements.
· Ensure compliance with Pfizer communication standards and branding requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required: Degree or equivalent experience in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Business or related discipline. Strong writing, editing, stakeholder engagement and Microsoft 365 skills.
Preferred: Employee engagement, event communications, digital content and communications planning experience.
