Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
Job Description:
\- Develop, integrate, and optimize innovative software features across Qualcomm platforms and solutions, delivering high-performance and scalable products.
\- Design and implement cutting-edge capabilities in Extended Reality (XR), enhancing overall user experience and platform functionality.
\- Contribute to the development and integration of advanced AI-powered features, including intelligent recall and contextual user experiences.
\- Drive research, development, and implementation of Integrated Sensing and Communications (ISAC) technologies for next-generation wireless systems.
\- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical challenges, ensuring seamless feature integration and product quality.
\- Deliver robust, high-quality software by following industry best practices, software engineering processes, and continuous improvement methodologies.
\- Thrive in a fast-paced environment as a hands-on engineer, demonstrating ownership, innovation, and a passion for technology excellence.
Minimal Qualifications:
\- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
\- 2+ years’ experience with Programming and Debugging in C, C++, Python.
\- 2+ years’ experience with application of ML algorithms to solve problems
\- Proven expertise in development and debugging tools such as gdb, VS, Jupyter notebook
\- Good understanding of algorithms, data structure, embedded software architecture
\- Proven hands on experience and debugging skills in the lab
\- Good communication skills both verbal and written
Preferred Qualifications:
\- Master’s degree in Computer Science or relevant stream
\- Hands-on experience developing device drivers and embedded programming
\- Good understanding of Linux networking concepts
\- Exposure to RF technology a plus
\- Experience with wireless family of protocols (Wi-Fi, LTE or 5G) theory and practice a plus
