Description
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
Be end-to-end responsible for fulfilling claims delivery into NPD launches for one or more Dyson product categories.
Proactively work with GC marketing counterparts to explore CN-for-CN claims ideas and opportunities for elevating product superiority, as well as to develop claim & accreditation strategy in line with GC portfolio and marketing strategy.
Develop claims substantiation plan across multiple projects and independently fulfil the execution of substantiation including desktop research, internal data analysis and performing external testing.
Independently do technical review of claims and copy for Marketing & PR campaigns and provide claims risk assessment for business to make informed decision.
Generate claim substantiation documents requested for advertising censorship or defending claims against challenges.
Expand external lab network and maintain good relationship with local and international labs to track down industry research & methodology evolution and accreditation opportunity.
Support Dyson reputation protection committee to technically defend Dyson claims in the cases of consumer complaints, market surveillance and litigation.
Skills / Experience Required:
Educational background in science or engineering;
7+ years working experiences within consumer goods industry: At least 3 years in the role of claims, and the rest in product development & validation, consumer technical insights or mixed. Working experience in electrical appliance or personal care industry is preferred.
Equip with rich knowledge on claims and substantiation toolkit, plus good sense of product storytelling, claim censorship rules, product regulation and standards.
Excellent in multi-task/project management including planning, executing, progress tracking and reporting to cross-category stakeholders.
Strong analytical prowess and logic thinking as the enabler to identify claim opportunities from insight data and scrutinise product claims.
Self-motivated to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong resilience and growth mindset, and be able to quickly learn from projects.
Demonstrate exceptional communication skills to influence diverse audiences in Dyson global locations and functions via fluent English.
