Description
Our client operates at the intersection of corporate, fiduciary and regulatory services, partnering with private equity houses, investment managers and international financial institutions. Backed by long-term institutional investment and an established global brand, the firm is scaling its capabilities, technology and international footprint.
As they continue to scale, our client is looking for an ambitious Treasury Manager to establish and lead the Treasury function. This is a unique opportunity for either an experienced Treasury Manager ready to take full ownership of a global remit or a Treasury professional with strong cash, liquidity, and risk exposure who is looking to step up into their first Treasurer role.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on cash management and liquidity planning, ensuring robust forecasting and optimal working capital utilisation
- Build and manage banking relationships, supporting funding and financing initiatives
- Develop and implement a Treasury framework, including policies, controls and governance
- Drive financial risk management, with oversight of liquidity, FX, interest rate and counterparty risks
- Create clear, insightful reporting and dashboards for senior stakeholders
- Partner closely with Finance and the CFO on strategic initiatives, acquisitions and business growth
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Strong experience in cash management, liquidity forecasting and financial risk management gained within financial services, professional services or consulting
- Previous exposure to international banking structures and multi-entity organisations.
- Experience implementing Treasury Management Systems (TMS) or treasury technology solutions would be highly desirable
- Able to demonstrate a professional Treasury qualification (AMCT/MCT) or Accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent, would be highly desirable
- Able to demonstrate confidence working with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making
- A proactive, self-starting mindset, with the ability to operate independently
- Strong analytical capability and advanced Excel skills
