Description
The position is responsible for overseeing the organization’s treasury operations, liquidity management, credit risk administration, and collections strategy. It ensures effective cash flow management, working capital optimization, banking relationship management, and credit control functions while providing financial insights that support business growth, profitability, and risk mitigation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage corporate cash flow, liquidity planning, and working capital requirements.
- Develop and maintain short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts.
- Monitor daily cash positioning and oversee fund transfers and cash disbursements.
- Manage banking relationships, banking facilities, and treasury arrangements.
- Optimize investment of surplus funds in accordance with company policies.
- Implement and strengthen treasury controls to safeguard company assets.
- Establish and enforce company credit policies and procedures.
- Review and approve customer credit limits using appropriate risk assessment methodologies.
- Develop and implement collection strategies to improve cash collection performance.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging, collection efficiency, and bad debt exposure.
- Lead efforts in resolving billing disputes, delinquent accounts, and collection issues.
- Monitor financial risks, customer credit exposure, and market conditions affecting liquidity.
- Prepare treasury reports, cash flow analyses, DSO reports, and working capital dashboards.
- Partner with Sales and Commercial teams to balance revenue growth and risk management objectives.
- Lead, coach, and develop Treasury, Credit, and Collections teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in treasury and credit management processes.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- You must have a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related business field.
- You must have at least 5–7 years of progressive experience in treasury, cash management, and credit and collections.
- You must have at least 2–3 years of managerial experience leading finance or treasury teams.
- You must have strong knowledge of cash management, working capital optimization, and financial risk management.
- You must have experience in credit management, collections, and accounts receivable processes.
- You must have strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills.
- You must have excellent leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
- You must have strong presentation and communication skills.
- You must be highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
