As the Finance Director for Roche Diagnostics Colombia, you will be a strategic leader and key advisor to the Affiliate on strategy, performance, investments, strategic planning, and operational excellence. Based in Bogota and reporting to the GM Colombia, your mission is to serve as a strong Business Partner across commercial teams, ensuring the delivery of financial results, driving operational excellence and sustainability, and fostering a deep-rooted culture of compliance, integrity, and safety.

About the opportunity:

• Formulate and drive the local finance and operations (including Supply Chain) strategy for Roche Diagnostics Colombia, perfectly balancing global and regional frameworks with local commercial imperatives.

• Act as a key strategic advisor to the Colombian Leadership Team, providing deep financial analysis, forecasting, and commercial direction to support key business decisions and negotiations.

• Foster an enterprise mindset by networking and collaborating across borders and divisions to overcome barriers and maximize healthcare outcomes.

• Ensure the timely, efficient, and effective functional delivery of Procurement. Also aligned with Pharma the Service Level Agreement for Treasury, Audit, SHE, Communications as One Roche with the LT functional responsibility according to role .

• Cultivate a high-performing, winning team by leveraging VACC leadership principles, focusing on personal development, and empowering a diverse team to drive organizational impact.

• Shape and implement new ways of working, leading leaders in an agile environment while adapting the Commercial Finance/Sustainability operating models to fit affiliate transformation goals.

• Formulate and manage financial targets, budgets, and investment frameworks in strict compliance with regional and global guidance.

• Ensure the accomplishment of our Finance Ambitions across all stakeholders by actively leveraging Roche Services Solutions (RSS) benefits and optimized processes.

Who you are:

• Professional accounting or finance qualification (CPA, CA, ACA, CIMA, Finance BSc/MSc, MBA) or equivalent corporate finance experience.

• Significant background in a highly disciplined accounting/finance environment with commercial, financial, and management accounting experience within a regulated organization.

• Strong commercial mindset with the ability to combine complex financial background and analytical skills with a deep understanding of business and market processes.

• Proven track record of leading other leaders and managing cross-functional, diverse teams within an agile, empowering environment.

• A strong decision-maker who provides clear direction in the face of ambiguity or complexity, seeking common ground to build bridges across functional and geographical boundaries.

• Excellent communication and listening skills, with a proven ability to influence senior executives and clearly articulate complex financial concepts.

• An inspiring, inclusive leader with high emotional intelligence who actively challenges the status quo and encourages a culture of experimentation.

• Possess a deep, foundational understanding of healthcare customers and patient needs, keeping them at the heart of financial strategies.

• Advanced proficiency in both English and Spanish is required.

• Openness and desire for international mobility in the mid-term is an asset.

• Proven track record of strong people leadership, with a focus on talent development and managing high-performance, cross-functional, and diverse teams within an agile, empowering and trusting environment. 

• Must be based in Colombia/Bogotá and comfortable thriving within a flexible hybrid working environment.
