Job Description

U.S. Bank Dublin is seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Data Transformation Analyst to join our team. This role focuses on transforming and validating fund accounting data using industry-standard tools and platforms, ensuring data integrity and operational efficiency

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain data transformation workflows using Xceptor to automate fund accounting data ingestion and processing.

• Manage secure data transfers using MoveIT, ensuring compliance with internal and external data handling policies.

• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate large datasets from multiple sources.

• Collaborate with Fund Accounting and Technology teams to ensure accurate and timely data delivery.

• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, resolving issues proactively to minimize operational impact.

• Document processes, data flows, and transformation logic to support audit and compliance requirements.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying automation opportunities and enhancing existing workflows.

• Escalation of missing/delayed files with Prime Broker contacts.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in data transformation or data operations roles, preferably within financial services or fund accounting.

• Experience of fund accounting is beneficial

• Hands-on experience with Xceptor and MoveIT.

• Strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and analysis.

• Familiarity with fund accounting principles and custody operations.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication skills for cross-functional stakeholder engagement.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business, Finance, or a related field.

• Experience with ETL tools, data governance, and process automation.
