Salary: £25,877.80 – £30,868 per annum

About the Role

As an Active Recovery Coordinator within our Opiate Team at Armley, you'll play a vital role in supporting people affected by drug and alcohol use to achieve meaningful, lasting recovery.

Working with individuals at every stage of their recovery journey, you'll provide one-to-one support, from initial brief interventions and comprehensive assessments through to structured treatment and recovery-focused group work. You'll build trusted relationships that empower people to identify their goals, overcome barriers and make positive, sustainable changes.

Using a holistic, person-centred approach, you'll look beyond substance use to support every aspect of an individual's wellbeing. Whether it's improving physical and mental health, strengthening family relationships, accessing housing, education or employment, or reconnecting with their community, you'll help people build the foundations for long-term recovery and independence.

What You'll Do

• Manage a varied caseload, developing, delivering and reviewing personalised recovery and treatment plans.

• Carry out triage, screening and comprehensive assessments to identify individual strengths, needs and goals.

• Deliver one-to-one recovery support, brief interventions and facilitate structured group programmes.

• Work collaboratively with health professionals, social care, probation and partner organisations to coordinate integrated support and improve outcomes.

• Support individuals to access treatment, community resources and opportunities that build recovery capital, resilience and social connections.

• Complete safeguarding, risk assessments and risk management plans, ensuring safe and effective support throughout each recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate and timely records using SystmOne, ensuring effective case management and high-quality service delivery.

• Promote harm reduction, recovery and wellbeing while encouraging service users to achieve greater independence and sustained recovery.
