Description
Essential Functions (Principal Duties and Job Responsibilities):
- Assist in the data collection through clinical chart reviews, surveys, MRI imaging, and other approaches. Assist in patient or subject recruitment if needed.
- Input, organize, and manage data using various software tools and databases.
- Conduct preliminary data analysis and scientific report.
- Participate in the development and implementation of data collection protocols to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Provide administrative support for research projects, including scheduling, coordinating meetings, and maintaining project documentation.
- Preparing presentations and creating visual data representations for internal and external stakeholders, writing manuscripts.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Proven experience in data collection and analysis, preferably in a healthcare or research setting.
- Strong understanding of data privacy standards and practices, particularly HIPAA.
- Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., Python, R, SQL) and database management.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus
- Must be in town and have personal transportation.
