JOB SUMMARY:
- Responsible for the safe and cost effective operation, maintenance and addition of facilities (building, equipment and services), in compliance to operations and customer requirements, applicable regulations (municipal, state, and federal), applicable environmental standards, and company policies. Supervises and administrates resources and activities associated with facilities, machine tool shop, and tool crib.
- Responsible for the safe and cost effective operation of janitorial services to reflect a world class image (clean and 5S organized) of all facilities and general office areas.
- Responsible for the safe and cost effective operation, maintenance and addition of the machine tool shop. Ensure benchmark competitive cost and quality in the fabrication of fixtures, production tools, and component reworks. Document cost reductions/avoidances every time in-house fabrication is more cost effective than out-sourcing.
- Responsible for the safe and cost effective operation of the tool crib. Implement a inventory control system to ensure a timely supply of tools and supplies to operations. Maintain an accurate monitoring and control of MDS and other hazardous substances control.
- Monitor compliance with objectives, targets and environmental impacts in the areas under responsibility. Supports and participates regularly in internal and external audits (IATF 16949, ISO 14001, BASC-CTPAT and other audits from local, state and federal authorities). To fulfill the roles and responsibilities related to the protection of the environment.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervisory – Administrative
- Provides input to yearly budgets, training budgets and business plan.
- Provides input to yearly capital expenditure budget.
- Controls and reports established operational metrics and performance metrics.
- Coordinates functional cross training and certification to cover for absences.
- Administrates the optimal utilization of resources
- Facilities and Machine tool shop Maintenance
- Safe operation and maintenance of power stations, generators under pressure, service networks (compressed gases, water, vacuum, electrical gridline, nitrogen, residual waste, etc), refrigeration systems, firefight system, to provide uninterrupted quality service.
- Fully implement and operate the preventive-predictive maintenance system MP2. Make sure all (new & existing) facilities equipment specs and PM routines are updated in MP2.
- Responsible for lay-out and distribution of services to mfg equipment (compressed air, vacuum, electricity, exhaust, etc)
- Elaborate specifications for facilities additions. Inspects jobs to ensure compliance to specifications, workmanship standards and regulation before payments.
Janitorial
- Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in facilities maintenance, janitorial, machine tool operation, and tool crib operation to , electrical and mechanical operations.
Tool Crib
- Ensure proper maintenance of facility machinery and building.
- Maintains inventories of maintenance material, supplies, and repair parts at required levels by initiating requisitions for purchase, periodically reviews inventory of proper un keep at facility.
- Other duties as required.
EDUCATION:
Degree in Mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent years of experience.
EXPERIENCE:
- At least 5 years of experience in facilities maintenance.
