Job Description:
The Construction Supervisor – Structural, Building & Finishes is responsible for supervising and monitoring structural, architectural, and finishing works on high-rise building construction projects. The role ensures that all site activities are executed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and applicable codes and regulations. The position is focused on construction supervision within the Parsons scope of work.
What You'll Be Doing:
Supervise day-to-day site activities related to structural, building, and finishing works, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project procedures.
Monitor construction works including concrete, steel, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, façade interfaces, architectural finishes, and related building elements.
Review contractor work on site and ensure activities are carried out in accordance with approved method statements, inspection requests, and quality standards.
Coordinate with engineers, inspectors, contractors, subcontractors, and other disciplines to ensure proper sequencing and integration of works.
Inspect workmanship and site progress, identify defects, non-conformances, and incomplete works, and follow up on corrective actions.
Ensure construction activities are aligned with the approved project schedule and report delays, constraints, or technical concerns to the Resident Engineer or Construction Manager.
Witness inspections and testing activities related to structural and architectural works, and verify compliance with project and authority requirements.
Monitor contractor compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements on site.
Maintain daily supervision records, site observation reports, progress updates, snag lists, and follow-up reports.
Support in resolving site issues and escalating technical matters to the relevant engineers where required.
Participate in coordination meetings, toolbox meetings, site walks, and progress review sessions as needed.
Ensure all works comply with local authority requirements, project specifications, and SAPL supervision procedures
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related discipline.
Relevant technical certifications are an advantage.
Minimum 8+ years of related experience in high-rise building construction projects.
Strong site supervision experience in structural, building, and finishing works.
Previous experience in contractor, consultant, or PMC supervision roles is preferred.
Good understanding of construction methods, finishing standards, QA/QC processes, and HSE requirements.
Experience in Saudi Arabia or GCC projects is an advantage.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Knowledge of structural construction activities, including reinforced concrete, steel structures, and associated building components.
Familiarity with building and architectural finishes such as blockwork, plaster, tiling, painting, ceilings, joinery, waterproofing, and façade-related interfaces.
Understanding of site supervision practices, construction quality standards, inspection procedures, and HSE requirements.
Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documents
