Summer 2027 Strategy & Executive Operations Internship

Overview

If you're a college student, Pfizer Futures is your chance to gain real-world, impactful work experience for 10-12 weeks during the summer. This U.S. program offers undergraduate students the opportunity to grow and develop into the next Pfizer Colleague.

 

With opportunities across the Enterprise, Pfizer Futures interns will support their division's goals and initiatives while building relationships and learning about Pfizer.

 

The 2027 Pfizer Futures application portal will be open from October 5th to November 8th, 2026.

 

Applications and placements for this program are reviewed on a rolling basis. Interview and hiring timelines differ by division.

Responsibilities

Strategy & Executive Operations supports Pfizer's purpose-driven growth agenda by shaping enterprise strategy and the communications that carry it. Interns in this division work alongside experienced project leaders on real strategic initiatives, gain exposure to senior leadership, and own a capstone project that contributes directly to the team's business priorities.

• Corporate Communications: Shapes Pfizer’s internal and external communications through content development, digital engagement, brand stewardship, and stakeholder communications.
• Executive Operations & Site Affairs: Fosters employee and community engagement at Pfizer’s New York Headquarters through event planning, site-wide initiatives, and programs that strengthen workplace culture and local connections.

Examples of past projects:

• NYHQ Site Affairs Intern — worked with NYHQ Site Engagement Lead and the Site Affairs team to plan and execute events to drive colleague and community engagement.
• The Future of Fortune 100 Executive Communications — Researched and benchmarked how top corporate leaders deploy their voice across media, speaking forums, and digital platforms. Delivered a findings presentation and an operational playbook for executive engagements.

Minimum Qualifications

• Be immediately authorized to work in the U.S. This Program cannot support applicants who require employer sponsored visas now or in the future.• Be an undergraduate student enrolled in a full-time university program (an accredited college / university degree program at the time of application)• Be at least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date• Have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA as of the most recently completed semester. Note: For R&D roles, a minimum GPA of 3.3 is required.• Be able to commute to a Pfizer location 4+ days a week. Please note, some lab/manufacturing roles may require additional on-site days

Preferred Qualifications

• Studying applicable degree (Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, Data Analytics, or Public Policy)• Junior or Senior students preferred

The pay rate range provided is a reasonable estimate of the anticipated compensation range for this job at the time of posting. The actual pay rate will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, educational degree obtained, location and/or being pursued and other job-related factors permitted by law.

In addition, this role will be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements.

Pay Rate Range: $26/hr to $29/hr
