Raw and Packaging Material Planner

Overview

Call off raw and packaging material from approved suppliers. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure uninterrupted supply to all relevant production plants. Manage ageing stock through the supply chain to ensure minimum impact on write offs

Responsibilities

• Manage Key Stakeholder Interaction
• Optimise Material Management
• Maintain the integrity and accuracy of data in SAP system (MRP Parameters) and document processes to ensure consistency
• Track and monitor supplier performance against agreed KPI’s
• Track and manage all on cost to materials
• Control packaging and raw material call offs,
• Control order book & expedited deliveries of supplies.
• Monthly communication to supplier of the updated forecast
• Control inventory levels     
• Control material obsolescence risk  
• Verify production plan and communicate material shortages in advance

Qualifications

• 4 years relevant experience and competent against the CAP Guide
• MRP Planning Preparation
• Optimise Material Management
• Manage Key Stakeholder Interaction
• Manage Materials Planning Processes
• Relevant Diploma or National Certificate in Supply / Production Planning
