As a Risk & Independence - Personal Independence - Senior Associate you will support enterprise risk management work within our Internal Firm Services practice, focusing on personal independence matters, regulatory requirements, and the review of policies, controls, and related documentation. As a Senior Associate you will analyze complex situations, manage assigned workstreams, build meaningful relationships, and guide junior team members while using critical thinking to interpret data, review feedback, and support consistent application of professional standards. In this role at PwC, you will contribute to risk and compliance activities, anticipate team and stakeholder needs, and apply your knowledge of the business context to help deliver dependable support in a changing environment.

Responsibilities

- Reviewing personal independence matters and interpreting firm policies, regulatory guidelines, and governance requirements
- Analyzing complex independence scenarios and documenting risk considerations, actions, and decisions
- Interpreting data from risk registers, reporting tools, and policy records to inform recommendations
- Supporting development and maintenance of independence processes, controls, and documentation
- Coordinating with internal stakeholders to gather facts, clarify issues, and resolve independence concerns
- Applying critical thinking to identify potential conflicts, control gaps, and process improvement opportunities
- Mentoring junior team members on independence procedures, documentation practices, and technical standards
- Monitoring changes in policies and regulatory guidance and translating updates into practical day-to-day actions
- Understanding the importance of responsible Information Management, including Information Security and Data Protection
- Ensuring correct Information Security Management practices

What You Must Have

- At least a High School Diploma or the equivalent degree
- At least 2 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
