Job Description

As a Security Officer Lobby Access in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge procedures, monitor alarm panels, and support loss prevention efforts. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with employees and guests, and help maintain a secure, professional environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors at a technology-focused corporate location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Staff the front desk by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or appointments, managing visitor access, and directing guests to appropriate locations.
• Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems from a stationary post; promptly report unusual activity or equipment concerns.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
