Hardware Engineering Manager
Job Summary
We are looking for an Electrical Engineering Manager to lead a team of hardware engineers in Syracuse, NY.
In this role, you will manage a team designing electronics for precision manufacturing instruments.
Your main focus will be mentoring team members, providing technical guidance, and guiding products from early prototypes to full production.
Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development: Manage, coach, and support electrical engineers through regular check-ins, career planning, and building a collaborative team culture.

Technical Oversight: Guide circuit design, PCB layouts, signal processing, and testing, while reviewing and approving technical documentation.

Product & Process Management: Oversee product development from early concepts to manufacturing using flexible, iterative project management methods.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with software, mechanical, and product teams, and evaluate new tools and techniques to improve engineering processes.
Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

7+ years in electronics engineering, with at least 2 years in a team lead or management role.

Direct experience with circuit design (analog, digital, or RF) and bringing products from concept to market.

Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
