Key Responsibilities

• Lead the operations, administration, and enhancement of employee benefits programs.
• Oversee retirement plans, including 401(k), 403(b), and deferred compensation programs.
• Manage relationships with brokers, consultants, recordkeepers, and other benefit vendors.
• Assist with negotiating contracts, evaluate vendor performance, and ensure service excellence.
• Develop cost-management strategies while maintaining competitive, employee-focused benefits.
• Partner with Finance, HR leadership, and key stakeholders on planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable benefits and retirement plan regulations.
• Analyze program performance, utilization trends, and market data to support informed decision-making.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members to foster a culture of excellence.
• Drive employee benefits education and communication initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Progressive leadership experience in benefits, total rewards, or compensation and benefits.
• Deep expertise in retirement plans, including 401(k), 403(b), and deferred compensation programs.
• Strong vendor management and contract negotiation experience.
• Demonstrated success leading and developing teams.
• Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
• Proven ability to implement cost-saving strategies while enhancing the employee experience.
• Knowledge of benefits regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Healthcare industry experience preferred.
