We provide extensive opportunities for personal and professional development, building employee competence and organizational capability to fuel exceptional performance through an inclusive environment both now and in the future.
Our people make all the difference in our success.
Summary:
In this role, you will help ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle by defining testable requirements, identifying risks, developing automated tests, validating integrations and data, and supporting the delivery of small, reliable software increments. You will collaborate with software engineers, product managers, architects, data engineers, and business teams to advance modern quality practices across web, API, database, accessibility, security, performance, and AI-enabled applications. You will also contribute to an AI-DLC Software Factory model that uses structured work items, repository guidance, automated implementation, pull requests, testing, and continuous feedback.
Responsibilities:
- Develop quality strategies for applications, APIs, integrations, data flows, and user experiences.
- Analyze requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical designs to identify risks, gaps, dependencies, and testability concerns.
- Create and maintain automated tests for web applications, APIs, integrations, and data validation.
- Develop functional, integration, regression, smoke, exploratory, end-to-end, and performance tests as appropriate.
- Automate web application testing using Playwright or comparable testing frameworks.
- Validate REST APIs, authentication, authorization, workflows, data exchanges, and system integrations.
- Verify application data and processing results at the user interface, API, and database levels.
- Apply test-design techniques such as boundary-value analysis, equivalence partitioning, decision tables, state transitions, and pairwise testing.
- Manage test data and test environments needed to support reliable and repeatable validation.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support quality gates for pull requests and deployments.
- Investigate test failures, facilitate defect triage, identify root causes, and collaborate with engineers to resolve issues.
- Verify software fixes and perform regression testing to prevent recurring defects.
- Evaluate accessibility, security, performance, observability, and operational readiness throughout development.
- Test AI-enabled and agentic capabilities for accuracy, consistency, relevance, safety, explainability, and appropriate behavior.
Qualifications:
- Relevant degree preferred.
- 2 or more years of relevant experience required.
- Experience developing and maintaining automated tests for web applications required.
- Experience with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or a comparable test-automation framework required.
- Experience testing REST APIs, system integrations, and distributed application workflows required.
- Experience with test planning, test-case design, defect management, and regression testing required.
- Experience validating application data using SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL required.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and software delivery workflows preferred.
- Knowledge of software development, software testing, and defect-management lifecycles preferred.
- Understanding of authentication, authorization, application security, and secure testing practices preferred.
- Experience analyzing requirements and identifying risks, gaps, dependencies, and testability concerns preferred.
- Familiarity with accessibility, security, performance, observability, or operational-readiness testing preferred.
- Experience testing AI-enabled applications, large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, agentic workflows, or AI-generated outputs preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, documentation, collaboration, accountability, and attention-to-detail skills.
