Sunflower Bank, N.A. is looking for an energetic, highly motivated individual to fill the position of a full-time IT Support Technician in Naples, FL.
Description:
This position is responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and resolving service requests related to desktop and laptop computers, mobile devices, printers, and other technology systems. The role serves as a frontline technical resource for end users, delivering timely issue resolution, escalation management, and exceptional customer service to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
Successful candidates will possess a broad understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, software applications, networking concepts, mobile technologies, and technical support best practices. Strong customer service, communication, and troubleshooting skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and perform troubleshoot on all computer systems and perform required repairs and modifications on systems.
- Quickly address any issues with technological equipment to minimize downtime.
- Perform routine maintenance of computer and network.
- Carry out assessments to determine the need for changes in hardware/software configuration.
- Set up and configure new equipment.
- Answer any questions about hardware and software issues.
- Manages Active Directory.
- Provide solutions to technical problems over the phone or via email.
- Frequently checking the ticketing system for incoming service desk requests; vet requests thoroughly, then evaluate and route them.
- Can communicate IT principles and technical concepts effectively to a varied audience.
- Identify, escalate, and support the resolution of incidents in accordance with established incident management and security response procedures.
- Responsible for ensuring all new assets owned by are identified in the CMDB with complete configuration item data. Assets owned must be maintained to adhere with all Asset Management Policy, Standards, Processes and work instructions.
- Responsible for being knowledgeable and performing incident escalation protocols and security incident response processes as they apply to the Service Management function.
- Perform the job in accordance with applicable industry laws and regulations as well as the policies and procedures established by the company.
Education / Experience Preferred:
- Have at least an Associate’s degree in computer science, networking, or programming. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field or equivalent work experience, technical training or knowledge
- Have 3+ years of experience in the IT industry.
- Proficient in supporting and troubleshooting desktop, mobile, and server.
- Working knowledge of all laptop hardware, desktop types, software packages, operating systems and network
Pay is dependent on knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, and location.
Working Conditions
The physical demands of this position require the ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Employees may spend extended periods sitting or standing, using hands to operate computers or other equipment, and reaching for work-related tasks. Regular walking may be required, along with occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, or climbing. The role may involve lifting or moving items weighing up to 10 pounds. Vision requirements include close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
