Description

Manage a caseload of Workers’ Compensation indemnity claims, including complex and litigated files.

Complete thorough investigations to determine claim facts, coverage considerations, and compensability.

Evaluate claims in accordance with applicable Workers’ Compensation statutes and jurisdictional requirements.

Develop claim strategies and continually evaluate next steps to move files toward timely resolution.

Coordinate medical treatment and review medical documentation and related expenses.

Calculate and issue appropriate indemnity and claim-related payments.

Establish and adjust reserves based on exposure, claim developments, and anticipated costs.

4+ years of Arizona Workers’ Compensation claims handling experience.
-
Strong understanding of Workers’ Compensation regulations claims practices, and medical terminology.
-
Arizona Adjuster's License is preferred.

Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex and higher-exposure claims.

Strong investigative, analytical, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to effectively manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining strong file quality and organization.

$40.00 - $45.00/hour (depending on experience)
