Job Summary:
The Senior Workers’ Compensation Adjuster independently manages a caseload of moderate to highly complex workers’ compensation claims, including complex litigated, high-exposure, and significant catastrophic claims, from investigation through resolution and closure.
This is a remote opportunity that requires an active Delaware Adjuster license, supporting Delaware, West Virginia, District of Columbia, Maryland and New Jersey jurisdictions.
Responsibilities:
Investigate claims and make timely compensability decisions.
Manage complex litigated, high-exposure, and catastrophic claims, including coordination with defense counsel and other specialized resources.
Manage medical treatment, disability, return-to-work, and indemnity benefits.
Establish and maintain accurate reserves based on current and anticipated claim exposure.
Develop and execute action plans to move claims toward appropriate resolution.
Evaluate settlement opportunities and negotiate within assigned authority.
Maintain timely communication with injured workers, employers, clients, attorneys, and medical providers.
Ensure compliance with state requirements, client instructions, and company best practices.
Identify and promptly escalate significant developments and changes in exposure.
Provide technical guidance and support to less-experienced adjusters as needed.
Qualifications
5+ years of workers’ compensation claims experience required.
Active Delaware Adjuster License required.
Demonstrated experience handling complex, litigated, catastrophic, and high-exposure claims.
Strong knowledge of workers’ compensation regulations, reserving, medical management, litigation, and settlements.
Strong organizational, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
Multi-state experience and applicable adjuster licenses preferred.

Pay Details:
The base compensation range for this position is $85,000 - $100,000. This range reflects Acrisure's good faith estimate at the time of this posting. Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity.Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
