Job Description
As a Security Officer X Ray Image Review in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Screener supporting a government location, you will help maintain a welcoming, controlled environment by screening visitors and belongings, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will use communication and customer service skills to help deter incidents while working collaboratively with site personnel. - Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and agency personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Screen individuals and their belongings using designated screening equipment and established procedures; identify prohibited items and escalate concerns in accordance with site protocols.
- Verify identification, credentials, and authorized access for persons entering restricted areas, maintaining accurate entry and visitor records as required.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter, reporting unusual conditions, access-control concerns, and maintenance issues.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- X-ray screening experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
